Should I go brunette? You tell me

So I have basically been blonde all of my adult life and most of my childhood. Blonde fits me and my personality, but lets face it sometimes you just want a change in your life sooo....I have been thinking about going brunette for a while and I really want to try it before the end of this year but I am not sure if I would be making a big mistake or not. Its hard to go back blonde once you go dark, so its kinda a big decision. Plus, I've always thought the prettiest girls I knew were blonde and that blondes stand out more. And I think blonde makes you look younger, and I don't need to look any older than I am right? I am so undecided.

One thing that gives me confidence about going brunette is that both of my sisters, who I have similar eye and skin color to, have dyed their hair dark at some point and it looked good. One of these pictures is of my sister Valerie who is currently brunette. One of my sisters even said people treated her different when she wasn't blonde anymore, they treated her like she was smarter--I guess there is some truth to the stereotypes.

The other question is, what shade of brunette should I go if I do dye my hair? I kinda like the two shades in these pictures, one is Hiliary Duff and the other is a beauty queen (who was previously blonde when she got her crown but I think she looks better this auburn color so that also is promising). Daniel does not like these colors and if I go dark he would prefer I go a true brown more like the other girls' color in the beauty queen picture (the more dark skinned girl). I don't really like that though I like the warmer tones, but I want my husband to be attracted to me. What do you all think I should do?
