Our story was similar to Nephi in the Book of Mormon when he went back to get the gold plates and said "I was lead by the spirit not knowing before hand the things I should do." We met in Spring 2002 at BYU and went on a handfull of dates and the most we ever did at that time was hug goodnight. Then we lost touch for 6 years...meanwhile Rozzy went on a mission and Daniel graduated and pursued his entrepreneurial adventures. Rozzy moved home to Georgia after graduating from BYU in 2005 and after being there a year and a half felt prompted to move to Phoenix, Arizona (a place where she had never lived and didn't know anyone). The pathway was opened and the spirit prompted her about not only where but when she should go out there--so the day after Christmas 2006 Rozzy packed up her car and drove across the country. The first day there she found a place to stay and met a handsome, virtuous boy at a New Years dance that night. Daniel was the boy, and he had been fasting and praying to find a wife at that dance or at least a prospect, we immediately remembered each other from BYU and started talking. We went out on a date the next night and Daniel offered to keep the relationship going by financing a long distance courtship--so one or the other of us flew to either Phoenix or San Diego (which was where Daniel was living and working on his business) every weekend for 6 months. We were engaged in July, unengaged in October, and reengaged in December. Whew, what a ride and leap of faith for both of us.
