The Wedding was beautiful, and the sealing was amazing. It's always so wonderful to feel the spirit that is present when the sealing ordinance is performed. I think I enjoy going to other people's sealings more than I enjoyed my own ( since I was nervous and a little stressed out on my own wedding date) . When I attend other people's sealings, I can really just take everything in and listen and feel renewed in my commitment to my own eternal companion.
Besides the sealing, my favorite part of the weekend was spending time with Rachelle and Olivia who were staying with us. Rachelle is so easy to talk to and its nice to have another girl around. We had a movie night while the boys were out catching lobster in the ocean after Scott's reception. I also love how Olivia is such a little girly-girl, I was totally like that growing up too. Here are just a couple pictures from the weekend, we should have took more...
This first one is of Dan and his grandparents at the beautiful reception center. This is the first time I have heard his grandpa George play the piano, he is amazing--when I talked to him after he told me that he started to play when he was 5!
Dan and I in front of the temple waiting for the bride and groom to come out--it was a perfect day, but it seems to always be perfect weather in San Diego.
Our "hip" cousins Micah and Cami (these two have the cutest kids ever, although they didn't bring them to the wedding)
Some of Scott's sisters/bridesmaids, all in blue or to be more specific "periwinkle" (ever since I married Dan I am now learning names of colors that I never used before--he's artsy in that way)
Grandma Ann and cutie-pie Olivia. I love grandma Ann she is such a kind hearted, classy lady and I just hope I can be as beautiful and wonderful as her when I am a great grandma. Its sad to not have our cousin Scott living with us anymore since he is a married man, but we are happy for him and Pam, they will be an amazing couple!
