Shark attack leaves hint of fear for free diver Dan

Last Friday a man was killed 150 yards from shore by a Great White Shark right in the waters that Daniel and I often kayak and free dive near. Daniel is still obsessed with catching the "illusive white sea bass" yet there is now a tinge of fear. Daniel and I spent much of Friday night researching the history of shark attacks, and I come to find out that we are not even safe in our kayak because great whites have thrown people out of them before. Moreover, the visiability has not been that great lately and Great Whites attack from below and behind so you would not see them coming. Daniel has been focusing on the fact that we are much more likely to be killed in a car accident then by a shark attack, and that is true, but being bit in half is a pretty brutal death if you do happen to meet a shark. Amidst all of this Daniel is still planning to go diving tomorrow morning and I am the designated kayak companion. I will keep an eye out for sharks!
