Disneyland Fun

We spent Valentines Day/our first year anniversary celebration at the Magical Kingdom.  It was the first time I had ever been to Disneyland, although I don't remember feeling deprived as a child for not going, and I really enjoyed it.  Childhood was such a fun and memorable time that its fun to just go back and be a kid for a day.  Daniel on the other hand, had lots of memories of going to Disneyland as a kid so it was nostalgic for him to be there.  We tried to take quite a few pictures.  We were able to go on about 10 rides, the lines were super long during the day, so half the rides we got in were after 11pm when the lines were really slow--in fact we rode space mountain right around midnight--that will wake you up for the car ride home.
The storybook ride on the river, telling all the disney stories with miniature replicas on the side of the river, so cute!
I love rides where you get dizzy, but Dan got a little sick on this one (see the video later on in the post)

More storybook ride stuff
Waiting in line for the pirates of the caribbean ride--one of the best I would say, its amazing how real everything looks and feels in pirate land.
Dan got this great picture of the hologram of a pirate that we went through on the boat, it was taken just as we were going through the mist they projected it on.
This one goes out to President and Sister Woods in Louisiana....
We even ate some authentic crawfish gumbo at the french creole restaurant there, along with some not so authentic chocolate cake.

There's a lot of elephant from the jungle ride, scary right?

It was a little chilly on the Materhorn ride, it was a little cold in general the day we were there.
Dan shooting bad guys and scoring high points on the buzz lightyear ride.

We are going under the ocean in our submarine

My favorite part was swing dancing at the end of the night to a live jazz band.
